What to expect

We offer counselling and psychotherapy sessions at our therapy rooms in Archway, North London. We can also put you in touch with other therapists who work elsewhere in Central and Greater London.

These sessions will allow you to ring-fence time and space to talk with a professional therapist about what is on your mind. They are designed to guide you to a clearer perspective with the view to helping you to ovecome the difficulties you are experiencing.

Before you can start to have regular sessions, you and your therapist need to feel confident that you will find talking therapy useful and supportive. We therefore follow a four step process to setting up your regular sessions.

Call 020 7619 3616, call or text 07958 692772 or email info@couplefit.org and we will get back to you within 48 hours to arrange a time that is convenient for you to have a telephone conversation.

Phone conversation

You will have a brief conversation with a therapist about the kind of support you might need. If you agree that counselling could be useful, you will arrange a time and location to have an introductory consultation.

Introductory consultation

Your 1-hour introductory consultation is an opportunity to meet with a therapist to find out more and consider whether counselling is for you. If you decide you would like to have regular sessions, you will set a time to meet on a weekly basis.

Regular sessions

You will meet with your therapist for 50-minutes at the same time each week. Your weekly appointments are an opportunity for you to talk in a confidential and non-judgemental setting about the aspects of your life that you would like to think about with a therapist.
