Counselling for individuals
We offer relationship counselling and psychotherapy for individuals as well as couples.

It may be that you are in a relationship, but you would prefer to talk to someone about your relationship on your own. We also see individuals who are struggling with feelings around separation and divorce or who are finding co-parenting challenging.

Many of our individual clients are not in a couple, but would like to spend some time considering their previous relationships or their tendency to be attracted to particular types of people. They might also like to think about how they can move forward either in or out of a relationship.

Our clients seek counselling for whatever they feel it is most useful to talk about. Some of the issues our individual clients bring include:
Stress
Anxiety
Low mood
Depression
Low desire
Feeling stuck
Low self-confidence
Feeling under pressure
Loneliness
Feeling isolated
Sexual issues
Health anxiety
Bereavement
Family issues
Fertility problems
Postnatal depression
Work-related stress and unhappiness
Redundancy and retirement
A general sense of dissatisfaction
Problematic partner choice
Co-parenting challenges
Difficulty establishing a rewarding relationship
Struggling to come to terms with a previous relationship
If you're in a relationship, you may find it more useful to talk with your partner in the presence of a relationship therapist and would prefer to have couples counselling.
